Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Fox Chapel

• Start Date: ASAP, but flexible for the perfect fit
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-4:30 pm; Guaranteed Hours: 35-40 hours
• Hourly Rate: $24-27
• Children: 3-year-old and 10 Month Old
• Pets: 1 cat & 1 hypoallergenic dog
• Paid Vacation:
• 1 week paid Nanny’s choice & 1 week paid family’s choice
• All major holidays
• 3 sick or personal days

• Requirements: fully vaccinated

Responsibilities and Duties

WHO/WHAT: If you believe childhood is meant to be experienced—not just supervised—keep reading. This warm, thoughtful Fox Chapel family is searching for a full-time nanny to spend her days with two delightful girls.

Mom works remotely from a basement office and dad works out of the house. They appreciate routines but aren't rigid about them. If nap time shifts by thirty minutes or a beautiful afternoon calls for an extra stop at the playground, they're happy to roll with it. They believe in providing structure while embracing the unpredictability that comes with young children.

Your days will be filled with all the things that make toddlerhood so much fun. Reading books, building forts, exploring playgrounds, visiting museums, attending story times, and heading out on little adventures throughout Pittsburgh. The family has memberships to many local attractions and lives within minutes of some of the area's best parks and family destinations. They love getting the kids out into the world and would be thrilled to find a nanny who feels the same. More than anything, these parents are looking for someone who notices the little things. The kind of nanny who gets excited about finding a new activity for a rainy afternoon, discovers creative ways to encourage a picky eater to try something new, and naturally looks for opportunities to make childhood a little more magical.
