Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Gibsonia

• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• Hours:  Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm; potential for earlier end times on Fridays; Guaranteed 36-40 hours/week
• Hourly Rate: $27-30
• Children: 4-year-old & 1.5-year-old
• Pets: One Small Dog
• Paid Vacation:  1 week paid family’s choice & 1 week nanny’s choice, 3 sick or personal days, all major holidays plus Black Fri, Christmas Eve & NYE

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Do you love a home filled with music, laughter, forts made from couch cushions, sidewalk chalk masterpieces, and bike rides on sunny days? Are you the kind of nanny who thrives on routine, but knows how to stay flexible when little ones need a little extra patience, encouragement, or cuddles? This active, kind-hearted family is searching for a professional, long-term nanny to grow with them for years to come. With a four-year-old big brother and a sweet toddler this home is full of curiosity, joy, and energy.

  Their days are built around a steady rhythm — morning routines, outdoor play, naps, crafts, and movement. When the weather is nice, you’ll find everyone playing in the neighborhood. When it’s cold, it’s all about fort-building, dance parties, hide-and-seek, and imaginative play. Their oldest attends school during the school year and will need daily pick-up and transportation to local activities. In the summer, both children will be home with you full-time. Dad works from home a few days a week — but they truly value giving their nanny autonomy and space to run the day with confidence and professionalism. Household responsibilities are child-focused and include children’s laundry, washing bottles, light tidying, and basic pet care.

  Long-term, this family is hoping to find a nanny who will stay until their youngest heads off to school — ideally a 2–5 year commitment. They are ready to invest in the right professional and are excited to build a respectful, trusting partnership.

You understand the importance of routine while also being flexible and responsive to children’s needs as they grow. Most of all, you’re looking for a long-term home with a family who values professionalism, mutual respect, and teamwork — and who truly appreciates the important role a nanny plays in their children’s lives.

Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
