Responsibilities and Duties
WHO/WHAT: Double the babies, double the bottles… double the magic. ✨ This warm, grounded, and genuinely lovely family is embracing life with twin boys—and they’re doing it with a beautiful blend of structure and ease. Mom, brings organization and intention into the home, while Dad, balances things out with a calm, easygoing presence. Together, they’ve created a rhythm that feels steady, supportive, and refreshingly real.
Their days are rooted in the simple (and meaningful) routines of this stage—feedings, diaper changes, tummy time, and plenty of downtime—along with daily walks (you’ll often find them strolling through North Park with their double stroller). They value consistency for their boys, while also understanding that life—especially in the medical world—requires flexibility. It’s a home where routines are respected, but perfection is never expected.
Both parents mainly work out of the home (though dad sometimes works from home in a separate office) and have demanding, variable schedules, including long days and occasional overnights. They’re planning for a general rhythm of five 8-hour days, with some natural flexibility built in. The good news? You won’t be guessing—they’ll have their full schedule mapped out in advance, allowing everyone to plan ahead and feel prepared. Reliability here matters deeply. When you’re caring for patients, there’s no easy “call off,” and they’re looking for someone who understands the importance of showing up and being that steady, dependable presence their family can count on. They’re also surrounded by support—grandparents live nearby and are part of the childcare rhythm—so this is truly a team environment where you’ll feel supported, valued, and included.
And perhaps most special of all… this is a long-term role. They’re not just looking for help—they’re looking for their person. Someone who will grow with their family over the next 5+ years and become part of the story they’re building.
THE IDEAL NANNY...can care for two babies at once—and still make each one feel like they’re the only one in the room. You have experience with infants and feel comfortable in the rhythm of bottles, naps, and all the little moving pieces that come with this stage—but what truly sets you apart is how naturally you step into it. With two babies, you’re able to balance, prioritize, and pivot with ease… feeding one while soothing the other, reading cues, adjusting in real time, and keeping everything flowing with a calm, capable presence. And yet—amidst all that multitasking—you never lose the heart of the role. You’re on the floor for tummy time, chatting, singing, making eye contact, and creating those small, meaningful moments that shape development in big ways. You’re not just keeping up—you’re connecting.
You’re naturally warm, interactive, and deeply attentive—and you genuinely enjoy getting to know each child as an individual. With these twin boys, that means embracing two different personalities and two different rhythms. You notice the nuances, you respond thoughtfully, and you love the dynamic that comes with nurturing both—individually and together.
Flexibility is part of your rhythm, too. You understand that a medical family’s schedule isn’t always 9–5, and you’re open to longer days or occasional shifts when needed. In return, you’ll be met with clear communication, respect, and fair compensation for your time.
You’re a team player at heart—someone who communicates openly, asks thoughtful questions, and partners alongside parents to keep everything running smoothly. You bring a sense of organization without rigidity, helping with children’s laundry, bottles, and light tidying (vacuuming, sweeping), all while keeping the focus where it belongs—on the boys.
Reliability and punctuality are simply part of who you are. You take pride in being someone a family can depend on, especially in a home where showing up consistently truly matters. This role is best suited for someone who can fully commit to the schedule and invest in the long term. Most of all, you’re looking for more than just a job—you’re looking for a deeply meaningful place to land for the next several years.
