Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Mars

~With potential move to Sewickley Heights~

*Hybrid Nanny/Household Manager Role*

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 10 am - 6 pm, Monday - Friday; Guaranteed 40 hours/week; Occasional earlier mornings or weekend support appreciated

Hourly Rate: $104-130K annually ($50-55/hour)

Children:  12 and twin 10-year-olds

Pets: One friendly lab

PTO:

• 1 week paid of nanny’s choice,
• 1 week paid family’s choice
• 3 sick days
• all major holidays

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-time professional nanny experience, ideally with school-aged children and teens
• Proven household management experience and the ability to work independently
• Strong professional references and a clean background check and driving record
• Active, energetic, and comfortable supporting children's sports, outdoor activities (including swimming), and busy schedules
• Seeking a long-term commitment and excited to grow with a family over the next 5+ years

This sweet family recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of their mom, and while they're surrounded by an incredible village of family and friends, their devoted dad is hoping to find someone exceptionally special to join their team. Not someone to replace Mom—because no one ever could—but someone who can bring an extra measure of love, laughter, stability, and joy into their everyday lives. Someone who will be there for the school pickups, the silly conversations, the after-school snacks, the big milestones, and the days when a little extra tenderness is needed. And here's what makes this opportunity especially remarkable: Dad is dreaming of finding someone who will be part of his girls' lives for the next FIVE YEARS or more, cheering them on through their teenage years and all the way to the moment they spread their wings and leave the nest!

Now, let's talk about these GIRLS! They're loving, funny, disciplined, active, and full of personality! Their world revolves around skiing, tennis, swimming, piano, gymnastics, outdoor adventures, and, of course, PIZZA! This is a family who loves to get things done but has just as much fun goofing off together. Their family race-day motto? "Be Safe. Have Fun. Kick Butt!" (We have a feeling this crew knows how to make some pretty incredible memories!) Dad is an outgoing, friendly entrepreneur who absolutely adores his daughters. He has a big personality, a busy business, and one very important priority: when he walks through the door at the end of the day, he wants to be ALL IN as Dad. He wants to soak up every moment with his girls without juggling dinner, grocery lists, laundry, and a hundred other household responsibilities. That's where his amazing new nanny comes in!

This is a unique blend of hands-on nannying and proactive household management, and we're looking for someone who will LOVE both sides of the role! During the school year, the girls attend private school, giving their nanny wonderful stretches of the day to keep the household running like a well-oiled machine. Think preparing delicious family dinners, grocery shopping, keeping the pantry stocked, managing laundry, making beds, tidying common areas, organizing closets, running errands, handling household projects, and keeping the family's busy routines organized. This person will be the ultimate behind-the-scenes superstar who notices what needs to be done and takes care of it without waiting to be asked! Whether that means getting the ski gear packed for a weekend getaway, making sure the girls have everything ready for their next activity, scheduling an oil change, wrapping Christmas gifts or simply having the house feeling warm and welcoming when everyone arrives home, this family will appreciate someone who thinks TWO steps ahead. And don't worry—professional housekeepers come twice weekly to handle the deep cleaning, and there's even a daily dog walker! The focus here is keeping the household organized, maintained, and running beautifully.

Once the school day ends, it's GIRL TIME! You'll handle school or bus-stop pickups in the family's provided SUV, help coordinate their activities and afternoon routines, and, most importantly, be a genuinely wonderful presence in their lives. We want someone who can laugh with them, connect with them, encourage their interests, and create a home environment that feels safe, happy, and full of love. As the girls grow into teenagers, Dad hopes their nanny will become another trusted adult they can turn to—someone who offers wisdom without judgment, kindness without hesitation, and a steady presence through life's ups and downs. Summers will naturally look a little different, with more time spent swimming, adventuring, and caring for the girls. Dad is happy to provide additional summer support if needed, and he's committed to making this position sustainable and fulfilling for the long haul. The family currently lives in Mars and may eventually move to the Sewickley Heights area, so they're hoping to find someone excited to grow with them wherever life takes them.
