Job Summary

*Summer Nanny Position*

Pittsburgh, PA | Squirrel Hill

• Start Date: June 1, 2024 - end of August; family on vacation 8/10-8/17
• Hours: Typical hours are 9 am - 6 pm (Monday - Friday); the family appreciates flexibility as both parents travel frequently for work and may need the nanny to arrive earlier or later. Guaranteed 45 hours/week; Position lasting for about 3 months
• Hourly Rate: $26-30/hour
• Child: 1-year-old and 5-year-old

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT:  Are you a teacher, college student, or some other education field specialist who’s looking for a meaningful summer position? This phenomenal family already has a rock star nanny they adore who’ll be going on medical leave; that’s where you come in as her valuable ringer.  Both parents work demanding jobs and travel frequently for work, but when not traveling, will work from home in their spacious home offices.  Once the five-year-old is off to camp or school for the day, you’ll turn your attention to the 1-year-old little brother.  They need a nanny comfortable driving their oldest to school, camp and both kids on fun excursions around town.  Afternoons at the library or playground are welcome! Sunny days at the pool are a must. These parents want a nanny to focus heavily on teaching their toddler through play. When the weather’s decent, the little guy loves to expel energy outside.  Their family spends the summer at the pool, so a swimmer is a must! Your help with the family’s laundry, vacuuming, and keeping the home tidy will be greatly appreciated. We’ve worked with this family for years, and there simply aren’t enough hug emojis in existence for us to express how much we adore them!

You are comfortable driving children in your car (mileage reimbursement included). Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
